1st Line Support

Our market leading, rapidly growing client requires an experienced 1st Line Support technician to join their offices based in London on a permanent basis. The 1st Line Support technician will have at least 12 months experience within a corporate/commercial envieonment, hold an excellent telephone manner and good organisational skills.

1st Line Support – Role Scope:

* To log all telephone calls on the Helpdesk system and assist users in solving IT related problems.
* To allocate calls to the appropriate team.
* To liaise with users to ensure calls are resolved to their satisfaction and close resolved calls.
* To review and release quarantine emails as appropriate.
* Co-ordinate initial users’ access to the business’ network system.
* Perform administration tasks relating to new users, requests for hardware/software, running routine reports from various systems etc.
* To produce and maintain departmental procedures.
* To occasionally assist on site second line support staff.
* Provide general administrative support to Group IT Administrator.
