Infrastructure Release Manager

Our leading insurance client based in the City is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Release Manager. Working alongside the Head of Change and Release as well as key infrastructure figures, you will be tasked with creating strong processes within the Infrastructure space.

A candidate with a strong release management background along with a strong understanding of the Infrastructure arena will be ideal for this position.


* In close collaboration with Infrastructure and Service Management, the establishment of an Infrastructure Release Management/Life Cycle capability using best practices from Application Release Management. This will include the establishment of an Infrastructure release cycle and forward calendar of up coming releases
* Incorporation of Infrastructure features into the existing Release and Change Management policies and procedures
* Working closely with key stakeholders and third parties to ensure that release criteria is standardized and applied across the whole of Infrastructure
* Initiation, co-coordinating and follow-up of application release continuous Improvement activities
* Capture, maintenance and publishing of Release metrics and Release Management Status

Skills Required:

* Knowledge of Release Management and its role in the IT Development life cycle
* Able to organise self and others including effective scheduling, prioritisation and time management skills, completing tasks to tight deadlines.
* Proven track record of knowing what it takes to provide a consistently first class customer service internally and/or externally
* Ability to build effective working relationships (Internally/Externally), establishing credibility amongst a wide and demanding client group
* Comfortable taking ownership for own work, identifying the need for action (using initiative) whilst working effectively within a team
