Senior IT Support

Our client, a global Tier-One Investment Bank, is looking for an experienced Senior IT Support Analyst to join their team based in London on a permanent basis. The Senior IT Support Analyst will be joining a highly professional environment in flush, open-plan offices. The bank focusses on the divisions of Wealth and Asset Management, Investment Banking and Corporate Banking.

Senior IT Support – Key Skills:

* Ability to deal with Traders in high pressure, fast-paced environments
* Familiar with Bloomberg and/or Fidessa, or another Order Management System (OMS)
* Thorough understanding of FIX Protocols
* Sound knowledge of Equities
* Committed and client oriented, proactive in providing excellent customer service
* Willing to be the face to the customer, acting as an internal ‘service desk’
* Proven experiences with Windows Server, Group Policy, Active Directory, Citrix XenApp, Blackberry Enterprise Server, mobile devices, printers and Bloomberg
* Knowledge of LAN, WAN and WIFI networks and technologies as well as leased lines
* Effective time management including ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize daily business as well as IT projects
* Experience in managing contracts and procurement of services for outsourced suppliers for IT systems, telecommunications etc.
* Experience in supporting users in a Bank environment would be helpful.
* Aptitude to work under pressure to challenging deadlines
* Willing and able to travel in accordance with role requirements (Europe & New York)

* Passion for customer service and ownership of the customer experience in a modern and growing banking IT environment
* Trusted advisor for all IT Workplace related requests and questions
* Successfully support our business (on site, via call or remote) with comprehensive issue resolutions
* Managing IT projects for our fast-paced business and substitute the team lead
* Become part of a team where expertise is shared and feedback is welcomed
